REQUEST FOR PRE-APPROVAL OF ABSENCE
Ed. Code 48205-a7: For pre-planned absences of one to four days, advance written request by the parent/guardian and approval of the principal or designee is required for justifiable personal reasons, including, but not limited to (see form for list of examples). Village High School fosters educational achievement and character development by providing a student with an alternative atmosphere and educational program that will enable him/her to explore career choices, develop academic and technical skills, and feel successful and succeed if he/she desires to do so.
