Facilities

In March 1997 the citizens of Pleasanton passed Measure B, a $69 million dollar bond measure to modernize and construct additional building space on existing school sites. The new renovations for the future will be funded by these funds.

Renovation at Village High School was extensive. Classrooms were modernized including new finishes, new cabinets white marker boards, better lighting and more telephones. The multi-purpose room has been completely renovated. A new vocational education/home economics area was added, a new master clock, public address system and two shade structures for the outside lunch areas are welcome additions. The administration building was relocated and completely modernized.

This construction/renovation means our facilities provide the best environment for the education for our students and our quest for excellence in student achievement. A complete renovation schedule is available from the Pleasanton Unified School District office, 4665 Bernal Avenue.

  Our Mission
Village High School fosters educational achievement and character development by providing a student with an alternative atmosphere and educational program that will enable him/her to explore career choices, develop academic and technical skills, and feel successful and succeed if he/she desires to do so.
