Policies and Procedures

The middle schools and high schools in our district have adopted a uniform discipline policy and dress code. A copy of these policies is in this handbook. Individual schools are allowed to add rules or policies to this discipline policy or dress code according to the unique needs of the school or grade level. Consequently, the following rules have been added for Pleasanton Middle School students:
1. Hats or other head coverings are allowed to be worn outside for sun protection. They may not be worn inside.
2. If students are involved in a fight both the aggressor and agressee may be suspended from school. Students who instigate or run to a fight will receive a discipline consequence.
3. Individuals may not sell items at school.
