how large class sizes will be.
Mr. Schweitzer will work with teachers over the summer to help =

placement and class lists will be posted 3 weeks before school
starts. Input will be ac=
cepted
from parents who have already had a less than positive experience with=
a
teacher previously and will also take into consideration if a parent f=
eels
that their child should be separated from another student. A letter will be sent home an=
d on
e-connection letting parents know to make an appointment with Mr.
Schweitzer to give this kind of input.
If Data Processing needs class lists before
summertime, they will be put together as if there was no Class Size
Reduction. Mr. SchweitzerR=

name will be listed on all classes where it is unknown whom the teacher will
be. Normally class lists are =
given
to Data Processing by the 2nd week of June.
There were over 115 kindergarten students at
Kindergarten Registration. We=
will
be adding another kindergarten class.

PFC Board: there will be a sign up sheet in the office soon. Nominations will be in May an=

will vote at the June 9th meeting. While we have quite a few peo=

interested in being on the board, we have yet to identify a president.=

Foster contacted us with the opportunity to sign up for next year̵=

fundraiser, pending board approval.&n=

Margo will help negotiate the contract and we will go ahead and
sign up. If no one steps=
up to
chair this committee, we won’t do the fundraiser.

ement: Mrs.
Williams is retiring this year.
Brenda Hager will head up the retirement party. She will look into setting a =
date
with Pat.
- 5th
Grade Celebration: this party will be on Thursday, June 4th
after school. The theme =
is
“Donlon Idol” and will feature a slide show and karaoke.

Thoe is the committee head and this will be on Wed, June 10th.

Measure G: an open discussion took place regarding if, when, and how much
we, as a parent group, should donate to this cause. $30,000 has already been rais=
ed
toward the $70-80,000 cost of the campaign.

After much discussion, it was decided that we
should have a Jamba Juice fundraiser with the proceeds going to Measure G.<=
