In the past year, many politically-related clubs have been formed at Amador, as a result of the heated debate in the last election. These clubs meet regularly to discuss
Political Clubs, in order of formation:
Young Republicans:
Formed before the 2004 election, this club meets regularly in Mr. Murphy’s Room (Q-204) to discuss current topics about the relevant to the Republican Party platform and other issues. Anyone is welcome.
Young Democrats:
Student Political Association:
This club is a non-partisan discussion forum, where every week there are topics of discussion/ debate, ranging from social security, gay marriage, abortion, and much more. They hold debates on hot issues as well.

Other Amador Valley Clubs: (no specific order)
Mock Trial:
A team that studies cases and holds and competes in a enactment of hearings based on the case they are studying. They compete in local, regional, state, and even national levels.
Amador valley High School Environmental club:
want to take part in saving the environment immediately? join the club In the beginning of school year to take part in a whole wealth of activities such as Beach and Creek Clean-ups, Environmental presentations to Elementary Schools, tree-planting and landscape renovating, candy sales to protect South American rainforest land and much more.

Interact Club:
Another Community service club that does period environmental and community-related community service events. This is a very long-established club.
