Interpersonal Communication

The Interpersonal Communication Strategic Plan Advisory Committee is tasked with implementing one of the seven components of Pleasanton Unified's Strategic Plan. This states:

Despite all technological developments, person-to-person communication skills will remain crucial for success in every aspect of life.

1. Students will learn to effectively communicate and advocate for a position in a range of situations.
2. Students will learn to listen carefully, receptively, and critically.
3. Students will be sensitive to and respectful of others with positions different from their own.
4. Students will learn to resolve conflicts in a mutually satisfactory manner.

The committee meets monthly on the second Wednesday, 4 to 5:30 p.m., in the PUSD Board Room, 4665 Bernal Avenue.
