PUSD Summer School 2011

Summer school classes are held Monday –Thursday only, except for the week of July 4.   For the week of July 4 (holiday on Monday) classes will be held Tuesday – Friday, 7/5-7/8

To reach Summer School sites, please call Harvest Park at 925/426-4444, Valley View 925/426-4230, Vintage Hills 925/426-4240, and for Amador High School please call 925/463-1104.  For those trying to reach the programs held at Pleasanton Middle School, please use either the Harvest Park or Amador High School phone numbers.  All calls should be placed on days when summer school is in session during morning office hours.

Elementary Classes full:

• ELD Grades 1-5

HS Classes full:

• Junior English
• Spanish I and Spanish II
• Math I
• Biology
• Intermediate Algebra II
• Geometry
• Math Review, Incoming grade 9
• Spanish Review, Incoming grade 9

The above list will be updated daily as classes become full.

Summer School applications from this time forward will be on a first come-first serve space available basis.

Below is the information pertaining to the 2011 Summer School Program:

Elementary Academic Support Summer School for Grades 6-8 will begin on June 20 and end on July 14, 2011. Special Day Classes (SDC) for Elementary Summer School will begin on June 20 and end on July 20, 2011.

English Language Development (ELD) classes for Grades 1-5, will begin on June 20 and end on *July 14, 2011.

 * Please note there may be a week extension for ELD classes.

The High School Program will begin June 20 and end on July 28, 2011.

 > A Special Day Class (SDC) setting provides instruction to meet the individual needs of Special Education students as determined by the Individual Education Program (I.E.P.) team.

Brochure and registration information will be available at this website and at all school sites the week of March 28, 2011. The initial summer school deadline for on-time applications was this past Friday, May 13. Please be aware at this time that all classes have availability. We will continue to accept applications through Friday, May 27.

Please note for this upcoming summer, we are no longer offering enrichment and/or fee based classes as part of the PUSD Summer School program.
