Educational Services: Summer School - Home

PUSD Summer School 2012

REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO FRIDAY, JUNE 1, 2012

The 2012 summer school program will include:

  • Secondary classes that allow students to fulfill graduation or college entrance requirements
    The summer school program will be held at Amador Valley High School, 1155 Santa Rita Road.
    High School classes will begin June 18 and end on July 26, 2012.
  • SDC Summer School for Pre-K – Grade 12
    SDC elementary summer school will begin on June 18 and end on July 18, 2012.

Applications for High School Summer School are now available on Registration page.

A Special Day Class (SDC) setting provides instruction to meet the individual needs of Special Education students as determined by the Individual Education Program (I.E.P.) team.


The Pre-K program provides school readiness activities for children entering kindergarten without previous preschool experience as well as support services for their families. This program is run by the City of Pleasanton. To apply for this program contact Gingerbread Preschool at: 925-931-3432

Summer school classes will be held Monday – Thursday only, no school on Friday*

*For the week of July 4 classes will be held Monday – Friday no school Wednesday July 4, 2012

8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
   
Valley View Elementary Pre-K Program 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Pre-K Program is run b the City of Pleasanton  
   
Amador Valley High School Grades 9-12  
High School Summer School Program
Period 1: 7:50 a.m. – 10:20 a.m.
  Period 2: 10:35 a.m. – 1:05 p.m.
   

Special Day Classes (SDC) Grades 6-8

8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
   

 

High School Attendance Policy:

In order to earn credit, students may accumulate no more than two (2) absences during summer school.
There are NO excused absences, including medical.
Three tardies are considered an absence.
A tardy is arriving after the start of class, up to 10 minutes late.
When a student accumulates a third absence, s/he will be dropped from summer school.
