Gifted and Talented Education Since the State has eliminated GATE funding and the GATE Program Application is optional, PUSD adheres to the GATE Plan as much as possible, focusing on identification, clustering, placement, and differentiation in the classroom.
The 2008 PUSD Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Program Application was submitted June, 2008 to the state, and received a three-year approval. Click here for the PUSD 2008 GATE Plan
